The ease with which the Sky Plus handles recording means that you can watch the programmes you want, whenever you want. It allows you to create your own TV schedule, rather than the TV schedules dictating when and what you should watch.

The Pace TDS470N PVR3 is the latest and most reliable Sky Plus digibox. The 80GB hard drive is now standard across the Sky Plus range and allows you up to 40 hours of recording capacity.
If you are not already a convert to Sky Plus, here are just a few of its features:

Record a program directly from the programme guide by pressing just one button. The recording will start and stop automatically.

What else do I need?
A Sky subscription. The recording functions on the Sky Plus receiver are controlled by your viewing card. If you already have a Sky subscription, you can upgrade your card to Sky Plus, at no extra cost, simply by calling Sky after the new digibox has been installed.

A dual or quad LNB - Sky Plus has two tuners and therefore requires two input cables to be run from an LNB with more than one output.
A single output Sky LNB (as shown on the left) fitted to a Sky elliptical dish must be substituted for a Sky quad LNB (right). Fitting is straightforward.
A single output, non-Sky LNB (the 40mm collar mount is common throughout Europe) must be replaced with a dual or quad output LNB with a similar fitting.

Sky Quad LNB - a standard Sky LNB with up to 4 independent outputs. This is the only multi-output Sky LNB - the twin output version is no longer available.
Quad LNB - 40mm fitting - a standard quad LNB with 40mm diameter neck. Suitable for most European dishes. The model supplied is the Smart Titanium 0.2dB, suitable for use throughout Europe. Other models are available on request.
Twin LNB - 40mm fitting - a standard two output LNB with the 40mm diameter neck. Suitable for most European dishes. The model shown is the Lemon 0.3dB, suitable for use throughout Europe. Other models are available on request.
 TV Link - a small device that enables you to connect your Sky Plus digibox, via coaxial cable, to a second TV set - in the bedroom for example. The second TV can then be controlled in the same way as the main TV. Please note that the TV link will not allow you to watch two different channels simultaneously. If you purchase this item, it is usually a good idea to purchase an additional remote control handset.
 Additional remote control - for use with the TV link at a second TV set, or as a spare or replacement. The remote can be used with any Sky Plus digibox and is additional to the one supplied as standard with the digibox.
 Wireless AV link - gives you the same capability as the TV link, but without the wires. It allows you to extend your viewing to a second TV set. Like the TV link, it will not allow you to watch different channels simultaneously. This can only be done by installing a second digibox. If you purchase this item, it is usually a good idea to purchase an additional remote control handset.
