The Freesat or Sky Upgrade kit should be used to upgrade a standard Sky installation so that extra receivers, of any type, can be fitted in different rooms of the house.
Based on the Sky Quad or Octo LNB, it allows extra satellite receivers of any type to be fitted. To use this kit, you should currently have either a Zone 1 or Zone 2 Sky dish (the black, elliptical, perforated type, generally fitted as standard throughout the UK/ROI).
This kit can be used for the new Freesat receivers - either standard or high definition, or for extra Sky digiboxes - standard (Sky Freesat or subscription), Sky Plus or HD, Freesat or subscription.
The Sky Quad 4 output (or Octo 8 output) LNB is substituted in place of your existing single output Sky LNB. Choose the LNB to match the total number of inputs required on all receivers throughout the house. Any unused ouputs can be blanked off if not required.
Select the total length of cable required. Any existing cable can be re-connected to the new LNB, but each additional receiver will require its own run of cable, from the LNB to the receiver (cable running from the LNB on the dish to a receiver cannot be divided or split at any point).
If you need cable clips or connection kits, just select from the options below. We will provide enough connectors (for both the receiver and LNB) to cover the type of LNB that you specify.
