The Maxview B2590 Crank Up Satellite Dish System is a complete low-cost system, ideal for obtaining UK channels in a caravan or motorhome. Equipped with the rugged 66cm Maxview dish, it can receive all UK channels throughout the UK and republic of Ireland, France, Belgium, Netherlands and even some parts of Germany. Futher South, such as Spain, Portugal and Italy, you will still be able to pick up many free-to-air channels - Sky News and most BBC radio channels for example, as well as many others.
Why spend thousands of pounds on an automatic system when you can achieve the same result in virtually the same time with this manual system? Both the elevation and the direction of the dish are adjusted from inside the vehicle, making the task of aligning the dish very straightforward; once you have practised setting the alignment a few times you will find that tuning the dish becomes practical even on short stops such as ferry waits.
Installation can be done by anyone reasonably competent at DIY, requires just a few tools (file, screwdriver, hand drill, 10mm spanner, hacksaw, sealant and 4mm allen key) and can be done in a few hours. Please note that the system is designed for mounting on a flat horizontal roof only.
