The Amstrad DRX 550 is the latest model from Amstrad and can be used to receive all UK television and radio channels. It has a distinctive, modern design and is equipped with the latest processor to ensure a fast changeover between programmes and menu screens. The reliability of these latest Amstrad digiboxes is excellent. This digibox comes with our standard one year guarantee.

Packing and delivery is £11.75 on all UK deliveries and £29.00 to any location outside the UK.

Included with the digibox are the following: a remote control handset with batteries, a scart and mains power lead, user instructions and a six month guarantee against failure.

When connected to a suitably sized satellite dish, this digibox can be used throughout the UK and Europe to view UK channels.

Delivery charges

All standard UK deliveries are sent by a next working day courier service. Orders received before 12pm are generally despatched on the same day. Orders received after 12pm may be sent the following day.

All our non-UK European deliveries are sent by a 3 day courier service. This is a trackable service that delivers in two days to major European cities, but areas outside major towns and cities may take one or two days longer.

TV Link - a small device that enables you to connect your digibox, via coaxial cable, to a second TV set - in the bedroom for example. The second TV can then be controlled in the same way as the main TV. Please note that you cannot watch two different channels simultaneously. If you purchase this item, it is a good idea to purchase an additional remote control handset.

Additional remote control - for use with the TV link at a second TV set, or as a spare or replacement. The remote can be used with any Sky digibox and is additional to the one supplied as standard with the digibox.

Wireless AV link - gives you the same capability as the TV link, but without the wires. It allows you to extend your viewing to a second TV set. Like the TV link, it will not allow you to watch different channels simultaneously. This can only be done by installing a second digibox. If you purchase this item, it is usually a good idea to purchase an additional remote control handset.

FM Transmitter - a great little device if you live abroad and like listening to the radio around the house or garden. It transmits the audio from your Sky box to your FM radio. This model is very powerful, with a range of 200 metres. For more information click here.

Scart lead - Sky do not include a scart lead with this digibox. Add this option if you would like us to add a standard 1.5m scart lead. Alternatively, see our leads section for a greater range of scart leads.
