This package contains everything you need to install your own Freesat system in the UK (excluding the Highlands of Scotland).
 
Installing your own Freesat system is perfectly feasible if you are technically minded and competent at DIY. The most difficult part - aligning the dish -requires patience but can be done using the receiver's in-built signal meter combined with the SLX satellite finder that is included in the package. For those who want to get the alignment done quickly, we offer two week's free use of an installer's satellite meter (deposit required - please phone for details).

This package will enable you to receive all Freesat satellite channels, most importantly all digital BBC & ITV channels & all digital satellite radio stations. 

Included in the package are the following:

  • Freesat standard definition satellite receiver (Goodmans, Grundig or Manhattan - if you have a preference please contact us)
  •  45cm Zone 1 elliptical dish and quad output LNB. The quad LNB will future-proof your installation, allowing you to connect three more Freesat boxes at at point in the future).
  • Satellite cable & clips (select the length & colour in the options below).
  • Satellite compass to locate the Astra 2 satellite & satellite finder meter to assist with dish alignment 
  • Full set of instructions on setting the system up and aligning the dish yourself using the receiver's built in meter in conjunction with the satellite finder 
  • F connectors and self-amalgamating tape to seal the cable connections
  • Bolts, rawl plugs and masonry drill bit to mount your dish to a wall
