This simple adaptor allows a 40mm type LNB to be fitted to a standard UK minidish (either the zone 1 or Zone 2 version) in place of the standard spigot fitting LNB.

 

While the spigot fitting LNBs, supplied as standard with all UK mini-dishes are perfectly adequate for the UK or Republic of Ireland, there are circumstances where fitting a high gain, low noise LNB may be advantageous. For example, on cable runs in excess of 30m, or where interference or reception of certain channels is a problem, fitting a superior quality LNB such as the Invacom can often solve the problem.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fitting the adaptor is straightforward. Simply pull out the existing LNB from the dish, fit the adaptor to the replacement 40mm LNB, and push back into place. The adaptor can be fitted onto any standard mini-dish.   

 

While any standard 40mm LNB can be used with this adaptor, we recommend the Invacom LNBs, either the single output (item 23), the twin output (item 29) or the quad version (item 33).
