Good satellite meters are expensive to buy and are usually only required once, at dish installation. You can hire this easy-to-use satellite meter for a two week period for less than a tenth of the purchase price of a new meter.

The budget type satellite finders are useful, but they do not discriminate between different satellites, and it's not always easy to tell which satellite the dish has locked onto. With the Horizon meter, you simply select the satellite you want and all other satellites will be ignored, making dish installation or re-alignment very straightforward.
